I am thinking about upgrading my equipment for a little.
I own: barefoot shoes for running, and at the moment I use the Strava app, I have an old Mi Band 4 to measure the heart-rate, but can’t link it with the app.
Clothes now are old band shirts and cotton shorts.
Do polyester shirts really make sense relating to staying dry?
Also considering getting a Garmin Venu 3or2 for better measurement/tracking.
What do you use? :)

I'm playing with a new TicWatch! Aaannnd it's kinda the same as the last TicWatch? https://somegadgetguy.com/b/44o
The Enduro isn't a new generation of watch, but it is a nice little hardware refresh over the TicWatch Pro 5. Let's take a look!

Very happy with my new . Shown in the photo is my preferred watch face style out of the default available options, a retro Casio face. Thank you to @PINE64 and the wider open hardware and software community! I'm going to test out the sleep tracking tonight while connected to and upgrade the firmware as soon as I get a chance.

nee !
das ist einfach nur schlecht gemacht.

Some & subsequent for my , in a bid to tidy up my desk a bit. When I found my charger nice and hot from being magnetically stuck to some nail clippers, shorting out, I figured it was time.

Used techniques for joinery, allowing me to evolve each piece to incorporate new features. A little dovetail in each joint with the back spine lets me swap out pieces, mix and match colours too.

A question for Apple Watch users: Series 9 or Ultra? Is Ultra too big? Which one to buy? I currently have a Fitbit Sense which is 40.48mm (1.58in) and moving on to the Apple world.

Please note: I am not looking for any price or ecosystem discussion here, I just want to hear more about the Apple Watch user experience. Thanks in advance.

Fellow @actuallyautistic folks, what are your experiences with and feelings about smart watches?

I realise that's a very broad question but I don't want to skew the replies by sharing my experience and why I'm asking!

I bought a because it's and it respects my by keeping my private information on my phone rather than sending it to the cloud to be abused by marketers and heaven knows who else.

I like it as far as it goes, but it's pretty basic. I wish there were a much more full-featured that was open source and respected my privacy.

The main reason I wear it is to count footsteps. The actual numbers don't matter at all: the watch is really just a reminder to get off my backside and keep active.

My occasionally warns me "Your heart rate is too high!" with numbers in the 126 bpm range.

Of course, I'm sitting quietly and relaxed when it happens, with an actual heart rate of 50-55bpm.

Perhaps I need to tick the "TimeLord" box on my profile to indicate I've got two hearts.

Nice to have my along for our late afternoon walk again. Getting the stats, route and a buzz at each km is great. I'd been without for five weeks.

Great that the vendor () replaced the one that died after 2.5 yrs even though I think the warranty is something less than that. (?)
