We at ZERO GmbH have completed our first prototype to display our own content in vehicle on-board systems. The touch function of the display can also be used to write ZERO in the most beautiful font ✍️ 😅

So...why all this? With the help of our AMPS platform, our customer can easily show new designs or functions in a vehicle and bring them to life - without having to access the series components directly.

And "easily" really means "easily":
Connect computer viaHDMI => switch on via button or CAN => be happy 🥳

Person writing "ZERO" on a vehicle infotainment touchscreen inside Microsoft Paint. You can see that MS Paint has been displayed in the vehicle by using our "HDMI to car infotainment" product.

nee !
das ist einfach nur schlecht gemacht.

It allows you to sync brightness of your external monitor with your internal one, or sync to day/night cycle, or control brightness, contrast and volume levels manually.

I booted up my PC and this is how my monitor is ⚰️

I heard that during the day a tiny thing has touched the panel 🥲

I'd appreciate any monitor suggestions from you guys.

I used to use this for dual usage. 2 machines were connected. Gaming on PC, and coding on Macbook.

The model is Samsung CHG70 27" QLED.

The whole industry has been working on increasing contrast for decades and now Lenovo wants to sell us a transparent display.

And a flat glass surface for a keyboard on laptop? That’ll make butterfly keyboards feel like IBM buckled spring.

Don’t get me wrong, I think a transparent display is amazing, especially for signage, but on a laptop? No.

I have this old DVI based 23” Cinema Display. It works just fine still (with a DVI to USB-C adapter too), but I just have no need for it anymore. I don’t really want to go through the hassle of eBay for how little it is worth. Any suggestions on what to do with it? Is there a community around people looking for legacy equipment?

Hey Linux people, I need your help: 🐧

On my media center PC, I often switch between 60 Hz and 24 Hz refresh rate for perfectly smooth playback. Is there a way in either KDE Plasma (Wayland) or Kodi to switch refresh rates automatically or with some kind of quick widget? I currently use the settings menu every time.

Note: It's a media center PC connected to a TV, so I won't type terminal commands.

My question: how to drive it? Is it LEDs? DC or AC input? What voltage?

Look at the glass piece in the corner - is this some sort of a lamp? (sorry for the blur)

Bummed that my didn't come with a connector to power headlights.. but I've got my Margo with a that does have headlight connectors, & a dynamo hub on the front wheel. So I can move the dynamo hub wheel onto the BBSHD Cetma Largo, & use that for lighting. The TSDZ2 Cetma Margo can switch to using the ebike motor/battery for powering lights.

But seriously, why would you make an ebike motor w/out light connections? (newer BBSHDs now include connectors, I think)

bikescape,
@bikescape@mastodon.green avatar

@Andres4NY What do you use with the motor? Mine died recently so I can’t even turn the motor on any more, and finding the right display that will work with the 4 year old software on the motor seems to be a crap shoot. (The company I bought it from has gone out of business.)
