Weird question for you:

Have there ever been more amazing eye brows than Kim Novak's in 1958?

Batman: Arkham Asylum - A Serious House on Serious Earth by Grant Morrison and Dave McKean. It’s outstanding in every way, a masterpiece.

Anyone have experience with their person losing center of gravity/balance after time in bed or a recliner?
When we stand my mom up, she feels like she's falling forward, and as we try to keep her upright, she thinks we're pushing her face down. She's scared, it takes extreme effort by aide and trust by Mom to transfer.
She can stand and walk w/walker, is quite strong for 96, but recently lost what remained of vision. TIA!

And they are saying Jame Stewart isn't a good actor.

And I have to disagree. I mean, he does the same character, but he's a good actor.

Isn't he?

Bill Willingham says Fables is in the public domain now

Capitalism makes everything worse.

To be clear, Willingham says he cannot publish more Fables without DC, but the public didn’t sign any such contract.

Read the article. It's just shit after shit.

I've got my issues with Bill Willingham, but I have to admit that responding to your publisher jerking you around with "Fuck you, it's all public domain now" is a baller move.

Accessible cycling: Anyone out there who uses a bike as mobility aid? Either standard bikes, or adaptive ones (recumbent, semi-recumbent, adult trikes, tandem, hand bike,…).

We’ve had fantastic experience with the Hase Pino semi-recumbent tandem.

Mulling over adult trike options for my mom, who’s starting to have balance issues.

Photo of Hase Pino semi-recumbent bike. The stoker is in recumbent position in the front. The captain steers from upright position behind.
