Huh, so the new monitor arrived, yay

But now I'm having to revisit my decision to stick with until is ready, because GNOME 45 only offers integer scaling for display with high pixel density and 125% / 1.25 is really the ideal scaling for me now

I guess I'm switching my gaming PC back over to sway again

are violent explosions that spew material into their surroundings, seeding the next generation of stars. But are still working to elucidate how they originate and what their various stellar progenitors look like—which differ between types of supernovae.

Time for your weekly and News video! In this one, we have more weird moves from to fight ad blockers on Youtube and Chrome, in a pretty bad way, and we have some nice updates on the progress of the desktop, on Plasma 6, and putting their recent influx of cash to good use:

Discovery of the Amaterasu 240 EeV cosmic ray particle, named after the goddess of the sun in Japanese mythology, by the Telescope Array observatory in Utah. This mysterious event appears to have emerged from the Local Void. Intriguing!

The most powerful cosmic ray since the Oh-My-God particle puzzles scientists

Scientists spot a particle of intense energy, but explaining where it came from might require some new physics.

Kind of a Drag
Supermassive black hole at the heart of the Milky Way is approaching the cosmic speed limit, dragging space-time along with it
Supermassive black hole Sagittarius A* is spinning nearly as fast as it can, dragging the very fabric of space-time with it and shaping the heart of the Milky Way.

Here's a look at the newest track from Metaphysical Shitposting! This one was entirely modular/semi modular gear. on one voice, 0-Coast (thru Strega) on one, doing an intermittent drone and a final voice that was made with noise thru a bandpass filter (WMDevices filter) that then goes thru a flanger (Happy Nerding FX Aid XL).

Delay via Mimeophon; reverb via Desmodus Versio. Both routed via mixer's aux sends.

I performed it a couple times in both the original and new version. Never recorded the old version (like I said, never felt "right"). This is a severely cut down version of my second recording, with light mastering, then slammed thru a cassette for extra texture.

The name is one I had kicking around for a few months and once I had a thorough listen to the final track, I knew I had the right track for it. This, to me, SOUNDS LIKE meeting in a parking lot. Your mileage may vary.

Attention Shoppers!

There will be a new @etherdiver release in a few days

Keep your eyes peeled and your ears to the ground, (or to space as the case may be, as that's where the music will be coming from!)
