In her intervention, Phyllis Bennis highlights the ongoing #Nakba faced by the #Palestinian people since 1948, juxtaposing it with the global advances in #HumanRights during the same period. She underscores the role of #SettlerColonialism & the complicit support of some states in perpetuating the crisis, particularly in #Gaza. Bennis calls for an immediate #ceasefire, emphasizing the deliberate nature of #EthnicCleansing & the dire #humanitarian situation
Given the developments this week it has become clear that:
The International Criminal Court,
The International Court of Justice,
Ireland,
Spain,
and Norway…
…are all Hamas.
Yes, there is no other explanation and Israel is by no means an apartheid state engaged in genocide (how could you even think such a thing, you raging antisemite, you?!)
It's probably best not to trust any Israeli voices on the state of things in #Israel or #Gaza. Even this Israeli "scholar," who admits that Israelis are almost unanimously pro-genocide, is pushing the "sexual violence" lie about Oct. 7.
“Israel has said it is recalling its ambassadors to Ireland and Norway following the news that, along with Spain, the two countries would recognise Palestinian statehood.”
After Hamas attacked Israel last October killing about 1,200 and taking a few hundred hostages, over 35,000 Palestinians, including 20,000 women and children, have been killed by Netanyahu’s onslaught in Gaza. 200 aid workers have been killed. Hospitals and schools have been razed. Journalists have been targeted by the IDF, which also targeted UN relief operations. Over a million people face starvation. All due to Israel’s violence and blockade of humanitarian aid. This is what the United States is supporting when it sends money and bombs to Netanyahu. #Gaza#Palestine#Israel#MiddleEast#FromTheRiverToTheSea#WarCrimes#EthnicCleansing
A poster was shared on social media to promote the protest. A description of the event said protesters were "delivering a message to #McGill administration that we refuse to stand by quietly while they remain complicit in #genocide."
What has #Biden done that's worse than what #Trump did? I'll start. He went out of his way to bypass #Congress to give arms and money to a country that was clearly committing war crimes.
