I was sixteen in 1990 when released their top 10 hit single “Groove Is In The Heart.” Here’s a short routine I performed to help celebrate my studio’s “Sweet 16” anniversary party.

I am really upset to see so many of my jumping to the defense of , claiming 'these women knew exactly what they were letting themselves in for". Nevermind being a living proof of how slowly has progressed, they display an understanding of & BELOW the very definitions, ignoring it ain't just PIV (penis in vagina) or not having awakened to marital r*pe law (voted in 1991 in the UK).

How old am I?

I am old enough to remember when the shitty little external speakers you attached to your desktop PC would announce that you were getting a phone call two seconds before your phone would actually ring.

Never sure how much weight to put into the results of a poll 🗳️ but it's very funny to see that is still (?) the most popular politician in the 🇬🇧

The top five are all 🔴 politicians and the current Prime Minister, 🔵 sits in sixth place.

If you use the filters down the side, it's fun to see how - predictably - prefer more left wing politicians with Jeremy Corbyn increasing his lead, is more mixed with Keir Starmer topping the polls, and see Boris Johnson top the charts and Nigel Farage enter the Top 5.

The poll filtered on Generation X. 1st place: Keir Starmer, 2nd place: David Blunkett, 3rd place: Rishi Sunak, 4th place: Gordon Brown, 5th place: John Bercow.
The poll filtered on Millennials. 1st place: Jeremy Corbyn, 2nd place: Sadiq Khan, 3rd place: Angela Rayner, 4th place: Thanham Debbonaire, 5th place: Andy Burnham.

As ever, @ThisWeekInThe90s has come out with another tremendous newsletter. This week's edition take a look at the politics of Grunge and Generation X through the lens of 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up?"

And of course there's plenty of other great 90s music in there as well.

This thoughtful, intelligent, meticulously-researched weekly newsletter is fast becoming one of my favourite things. Do take a look!
