Ink in the blogosphere is beginning to spread about the proposed #Biden#HumanitarianAid bridgehead on the Mediterranean coast of #Gaza.
Some are saying it’s a distraction to appease #voters while Biden continues to provide arms and cover. Some, that the intention is to actually benefit the #zionists by providing a place to evacuate #palestinians. Some go so far as to claim it’s intended as the terminus of the #Israeli#RiverToTheSea dream.
My take? These theories fail to understand the #evil genius leaders in the U.S. are capable.

Hospitals in Gaza are just hours away from running out of fuel. That means patients will die. The babies, the sick, the elderly. The innocent people we are supposed to care for.

MSF, IRC... say the strike took place in “a designated safe zone” -respected, INDEP orgs undercutting Israeli claims that this wasn’t the case & is pro-Hamas propaganda. The decision to take a strike must account for whether the MIL gain is proportional + what circumstances on the ground show about the likely toll on civilians. Hundreds of asylum seekers have been coming across the border in a remote part of Arizona. When I was last there a couple weeks ago, border patrol was picking people up, bringing them to the station and processing them fairly quickly.
Now, with rain, snow, cold and the serious risk of hypothermia for hundreds of people, Border Patrol has left humanitarian aid to volunteers. The group No More Deaths has been out there day after day for months and months providing life-saving aid to people. Their number is in the press release.
