@Blamemeta@Bongo_Stryker I'm pro #Israel, and support their side of the conflict, but there are some small (but significant) cases in which the #IDF very likely violated international law/the #GenevaConventions; using #WhitePhosphorus, and the siege on #Gaza, as well as potentially the targeting of the #WCK truck. Targeting #Rafah probably looks like a genocidal tactic, but to be fair #Hamas militants are likely there.
“We will continue to bring as much food as possible into Gaza, by land, air or sea.We had to make a decision - to stop feeding altogether during one of the worst hunger crises ever or to continue feeding knowing that aid workers and civilians were being killed.
We considered all the options, but ultimately, we decided to continue to feed and continue our mission.”
World Central Kitchen will hold an interfaith Celebration of Life to honor the #WCK heroes killed in #Gaza. The memorial service will be held at the National Cathedral in #Washington, #DC on Thursday, April 25, at 11am.
In mid-March, Elad Goren, head of Coordination and Liaison Administration at COGAT, told The Post that the agency “coordinated everything … including the ambulance that wanted to go and find Hind.”
The IDF denied that any coordination had taken place, repeating its assertion that its forces were not in the area.
If you were outraged about the #WCK strike, but aren't equally outraged about this strike on a 6yo girl and the medics who went to rescue her with Israeli approval and coordination, please ask yourself why.
For months World Central Kitchen leadership censored material coming out of its Gaza operation and refused to honor staff concerns about our work there. They are finally taking a stand after personnel were killed but it is much too late.

--Gazans Describe Search for Food and Wonder If It Will Get Worse--
The charity food group World Central Kitchen suspended its relief efforts after seven of its workers were killed in Israeli airstrikes.
Day 1. No idea why that happened. We're very sorry. Let's move on.
Day 2. Oh, alright then, we'll look into it.
Day 3. A big boy did it and ran away.
Day 4. Its Hamas’s fault.
Looking forward to tomorrow...
"The commission claimed that "there was no intentional harm" intended by the drone strike, and that the drone operators gave the orders to fire under the impression that the vehicles they were tracking had been commandeered by gunmen"
“In the coming HOURS & DAYS, we will be looking for concrete, tangible steps that they’re taking” - WH spox John Kirby
The call between the 2 leaders came 3 days after 7 workers from the José Andrés-run #WCK were killed by an Israeli strike on a clearly marked convoy, igniting outrage in the #UnitedStates & abroad. #POTUS held the call w/ #Netanyahu specifically because of the deadly strikes, Kirby said, adding that #Biden was “shaken” by the attack.
Must-read reporting by +972 on how the IDF are using “AI” in their indiscriminate murder in Gaza. It’s horrific, and we must not look away. And it’s an absolute nightmare of the usual sorts of AI harms cranked up to the extreme: mass surveillance, "we don't have any choice but to automate", AI as pretext for deadly violence.
#Israel has said it has informed the families of 31 people held in the territory since 7 October that their relatives are dead. The news came as the Qatari prime minister said #Hamas had given a “generally positive” response to proposals for a deal trading a break in the fighting and release of #Palestinian prisoners for the return of more #hostages.
Finally. Maybe the tragic and completely unnecessary deaths of 7 #WCK#AidWorkers will not have been in vain.
He promised to “streamline #SecurityChecks” that aid organisations have blamed for choking the flow of assistance to the territory’s more than 2 million people through six months of war. #Israel
