It will be my birthday soon on June 1st, and to celebrate, I’ll be offering a super special discount on Cork! 🎉
Starting on June 1st until June 8th, Cork will be discounted 60 percent! Yes, SIXTY, the largest discount ever.
I’ll be sharing the discount code later, so be sure to keep an eye on my profile or @CorkApp (or even follow me if you want to, I’d really appreciate that!)
Where are custom keyboard command sets stored? I deleted FCP as I the SFX folder isn't anywhere on my Mac, but forgot to export my command set before deleting the app. Luckily I have a time machine backup, so if I would know where the command sets are stored I could find them! 😅 #FinalCutPro#macOS#FCP#VideoEditing#TechHelp#Question
I'm looking for some volunteers to test a new Cork version. There's one huge bug that needed to be fixed before the next version is released. Are you up for it?
I'm specifically looking for people with a lot of installed Homebrew packages.
From 2 days I've been trying to animate icons in a small utility app I made with MenuBarExtra. I can’t seem to figure out how Paste app did this animation, that goes off every time the user copies something. Anyone? Any idea?
Given the iTerm hullabaloo, I tried Kitty (https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/). And I am unsure why I didn’t try it sooner, except having not heard of it. As a macOS and Linux user, it is more responsive, and miles easier to configure. Took about 15 minutes to get just how I had iTerm, and having all my configs in a simple .conf file means I can integrate with my dotfiles repo quite nicely. Bye-bye iTerm.
Tenacity @tenacity lists support for #macOS, but all the download links point to release lists that only mention Windows and Linux (however, the release notes mention macOS progress). Same is true for the installation instructions. I am too stupid to find the Mac packages?
This is my rough roadmap for #Macstodon:
(no guarantees on ANY of it though, depends on how long I keep interest without burning out or getting bored, and what's technically possible with MacPython)
Note: development is very slow at the moment because I am doing a lot of coding at my day job and don't want to also do it in my free time.
1.1
pick what to display in each of the three columns
show lists, hashtags, bookmark feeds
support for viewing polls, MAYBE for creating them
MAYBE filters for notifications?
MAYBE support multiple servers?
MAYBE support calckey?
At that point, I would consider it "feature-complete" and a finished project.
#macos peeps - to iterm2 did a LLM thing in their terminal emulator. i just uninstalled it from my system, anyone able to recommend a lightweight replacement to the default macOS terminal.app?
