Just had the pleasure of listening to Alex from @owa about the #DMA and #ProgressiveWebApps! The DMA will massively strengthen what #PWA's can do, but we have to be strict and make sure #Apple behaves!
Electron ist nicht nur sprichwörtlich das Schwergewicht in der Cross-Plattform-Entwicklung. Kleiner und sicherer will Tauri sein, das im Backend auf Rust setzt.
I feel like my entire career in #webDev there has always been the tools that I'm interested in learning, and the tools that someone wants to pay me to use, and the later is always five years behind the former.
Just once I wish someone would let me skate to where the puck is going.

It's unfortunate how installing a #PWA removes the reload and back buttons, especially on #mobile where you can't right click for a context menu, or use a keyboard shortcut.
Maybe the OS level back button, and pull-to-refresh suffice most of the time but I still find myself needing the browser toolbar pretty often.
I've been trying to implement the #shareTarget API in my #PWA for years now and I'm so close to being able to accept files from a share (at least from #Chrome#Android) that I can taste it!!!
In manifest.json I set my method to "POST" and enctype to "multipart/form-data", but when I share to my app it just GETs the page with no POST or even querystring params.
I could try disabling the GET response and see what happens...
