I'll be shifting my online presence to my WordPress blog more over the next few months and use Micro.blog less. There's a post explaining why I'm making the pivot in my drafts folder, but basically, it all comes down to having total control.
Even Google admits - grudgingly - that it is losing the spam wars. The explosive proliferation of botshit has supercharged the sleazy "search engine optimization" business, such that results to common queries are 50% Google ads to spam sites, and 50% links to spam sites that tricked Google into a high rank (without paying for an ad):

OK, now I have found a solution (look toots above) using #Rust thanks the tip from @beowulf. Although I briefly shut down #100DaysOfRust, this motivates me to continue learning #RustLang practically. I will something similar to #code but look at @rust for inspiration 🙌

I don’t know what type of website you manage where you would even consider blocking chrome, that’s unfortunately roughly 65% of traffic, 70% if you include edge.
Maybe your site is for a niche group of people who mostly Firefox users? I’m just very surprised that’s an option for you as unfortunately chrome is what most people use.
