If a young woman is told at the start of her career to "Be liked above all else," meaning, smile, always be agreeable, and don't ever make waves, is that good or bad advice?

My partner spotted a tiny #jackrabbit kit (which is actually a #hare...) peeking out of a shrub in our back yard and called me to come see. To our delight, s/he came right out and sniffed around, looking to see if it was #safe to jump down over a 20cm edge (nope! too big!). And then s/he turned around and proceeded to #binky all around the shrub.
Gave me a well-needed #smile today. Unfortunately, it was over too fast to catch on camera.
