Got caught in the rain today, and waited out the shower under a rhododendron. Not a bad way to spend fifteen minutes. Entertained myself watching a crow across the street, looking picturesque in a blooming dogwood.

My little free library in front yard. Purple irises in front of it. My library box has environmental & social justice stickers plastered all over it. There's dinosaur, Baby Yoda, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figurines on the roof of it.

It's bulbs are used often in cuisine; especially in where they grow wild in mountain ranges. Its extracts are - used to treat fungal & bacterial infections, malaria treatments & anti-dandruff treatment.

It was a spectacularly beautiful day here today and we got all the Cucurbits planted out and covered with my white plastic totes (cloches). We've got:
Zucchini (Dunja)
Squash (Sunburst)
Butternut Squash (Butter Baby)
Cucumber (Marketmore)
Our planting out is almost done now with only 2 more plantings of corn and the Okra still to go in.😀

Oh. My. Fucking. God.

I have just learned that " Bean" has two completely different and incompatible definitions.

One is a dumb, badly designed data object with getters and setters.

The other is... a service object managed by the Spring framework IoC container.

Holy hell. This is 10x worse than "facades."

Am I wrong here? This is what I'm finding from online tutorials. Is there more nuance that is not coming through, because for now I just hate even more.

Thankfully, towards the end, the rain let up and allowed for a beautiful evening. We drove to a nearby walk alongside the Northern Reaches of Lancaster Canal.

It has now been two weeks since we planted the first of our corn seeds into their pots. Today was the day that we set them out in to the garden. We will now start another planting of 32 pots for the next row to be set out 2 weeks from today.

The best carbon capture and storage system are healthy . I don't know if the photo here of this Youhiogheny River section pictures is, in fact, a healthy ecosystem, but it is a lovely view and there is lots of carbon loveliness in those trees and in the forest floor. I took it for my friend who wanted a photo to look at while he pees. It's titled:
