Trying to decide between error message summary format.
First has message at top. Page would scroll up on form submit.
Second has message show right above buttons.
Button container sticks to bottom of screen on scroll.
I like the message showing right above buttons because you'd see it right where you clicked but concerned it would cover too much of the page, especially on mobile.

My lovely wife is looking for her first job as #ux and #ui#designer and I would deeply appreciate a boost (here or on #LinkedIn) if you know someone who might be interested in hiring her.
I switched industries a couple years ago and it's tough to find your first job without any proper experience, took me 5 months. Maybe it will be faster for her. 🙂
Figma help needed! Sort of. I have some colleagues who will be using Figma for the first time soon. Do you have any Figma introductory courses or resources that you can recommend?
I specifically would like ones you know are good - from doing them or people recommending them. (I have of course used search engines myself already)
Has anyone here used Figma? What to do when there is no Add Flow Starting Point? Currently I can only have one flow and need multiple. #figma#uidesign#ui
Slowly but forward. Main pages with no content, but they are there. Blog without pagination, but it works. Currently, the font jumping on swap annoys me the most.

So I played around some more with #CSS integrating with existing selectable site theme by @stux's Bird-UI-Theme-Admins from the creator of #MastodonBirdUI, @rolle.
Added some dashes of custom CSS colours from Material Design to the admin dashboard.
I will probably be criticized for the choose of colours. 😅
I've been using :AntennaPod: @AntennaPod for some years now and It's truly a legend in podcast world, but it suffers from one single and very tiny UI design flaw (which is understandable in such FLOSS and volunteer-based projects): some buttons are virtually hidden unless you know where to look for them.
One of the features that many podcast apps have is the ability to archive podcasts (i.e out of sight, out of mind, but keep my stats and progress).
We're celebrating with $20 licenses. That's 60% off!!! Get the deal here: https://xscopeapp.com/ using code: 20FOR20. If you know designers and developers who needs a powerful set of tools to create precise on-screen graphics please boost or share.
I'm thrilled to see @Vivaldi included Mastodon Bird UI in Vivaldi Social. :bunhdheart:
"We’ve added two new sets of custom themes — Tangerine UI and Mastodon Bird UI. Both themes flip the interface to display the menu on the left side of the feed, keeping the posting and searching options on the right side."
Since the latest "update," when I type in Excel, the new entry shows up in 11-point Calibri until I hit enter or tab (at which point it turns into the proper size and typeface).
It's ugly and annoying.
Is this a ham-handed way to push us all to use Calibri? An oversight? Surely, no one thought this would be something users would like, right?
I wish I understood why people use the dark themes on their OSes, apps, and websites. I truly don't get it because my eyes can't process information as fast as they can on a white background with black letters. I don't consider the dark themes to be the natural default for human eyes. Maybe for owls...
