“I like to have a warm drink. It always helps ground me and gives me a set time to just breathe and pay attention to myself.”

What did you do for self-care today?

"I have become more comfortable with myself, body and my identity. I have been able to show my true self to the world and I feel that I am closer to loving myself than I was pre-transition. I am on hormones and have had top surgery so physically my body is altered due to these things and emotionally I am a lot happier for it."

"Through my own identity as a trans man, and one of a race other than white, I really wanted to share my own experiences to show that everyone's on a different path. It's not an easy journey and I don't think it's ever really over. It can be emotionally draining, but it can also be really rewarding." Leo Sheng

Natural essential oils harbor the essence of plants, capturing botanical benefits that can uplift or calm moods. Diffusing lavender oil may soothe nerves, while citrus scents energize and refresh. Personalizing your fragrance blend allows for a therapeutic olfactory journey tailored to emotional needs.

Well, i've tried to make a case for politically correct #inclusion and #wellbeing, but i got shut down rather rudely with an unsophisticated troll-ish post, on #GitHub.

See: #issue13082 https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/13082

Why does (some) #FLOSS - Free, as in #Libre, #OpenSource #Software, need a #Christian bias?

Why is it "too heated", to discuss including everyone else?

Perhaps not perfect, but i think i've made a pretty reasonable case.

We need to talk about....doom scrolling. Lots of us have done it. Scrolling through bad news or through some transphobe's timeline then looking up from your phone and realising you've been doing it for hours.

The Samaritans have some good practical tips if you find yourself doom scrolling a lot. You can read them at: https://www.samaritans.org/how-we-can-help/if-youre-having-difficult-time/practical-tips-doomscrolling-news-social-media/

life hack: Drag two server icons to start a folder

You can dismiss all notifications in all servers in a folder

You can also color code and name folders

Notification options are also MUCH more granular than you may think

Get rid of that red (99) and start being able to actually use discord notifs again! Or just don't get any, if you don't want.

SirTapTap,
@SirTapTap@mastodon.social avatar

IMO one of the biggest parts of digital is just turning off notifications by default and only turning on what you think you'll need, or actively pruning notification categories IMMEDIATELY once you get even one notif you didn't want.
