Nazis were obsessive abt being the victims. Once in power they put up monuments to their "martyrs." They sang their Horst Wessel Song as they conquered countries & killed millions to say that they, Nazis, were real victims and therefore always innocent.

@jeffjarvis What happens to the Republicans in America happened and happens to the conservative parties in Europe and especially in Germany and Austria, too.

CDU/CSU and ÖVP took a hard turn to the right following the right-wing/far-right parties AfD and FPÖ and copying them. At least they tried to copy them.

What happens is, they made the far-right parties stronger than ever over a long time.

The Republicans are right-wing today that needs to be accepted by most people in the US! ...

    Was zum Teufel geht auf dem Server von Mastodon Social vor?

    Der zickt seit einiger Zeit wieder sehr wild herum. Leider bekommt man von den Administratoren keinerlei Info mehr.

    Meine App scheint sync Probleme mit dem Server zu haben. Likes und RTs werden öfter mal nicht ausgeführt. Das Senden von Toot dauert länger.

    Das fühlte sich vor ein bis zwei Wochen noch ganz anders an ... 😳

    It has arrived!

    My new old C64 is back in my possession. It is the model I owned as a kid in 1982/83. With a serial number towards the 400.000th built in Western Germany. It has the keyboard of the predecessor, the VIC-20.

    Now I need two things next:

    • a new PSU to power up the beast
    • the Ultimate 1541 IIL expansion with lots of good and modern stuff on it

    I'm looking forward to diving back into everything C64 :-) ...

    I just found out again how bad Music is (for me).

    I was searching for the title song of the 90s action movie "Broken Arrow" composed by Hans Zimmer for a quick listen.

    Well, Apple Music didn't find anything. Spotify found some recordings of some artists (cover).

    In the end it was my library of my old CD's that saved me.

    Apple Music really sucks. Spotify is very disappointing.

    Buy music! It's even better for the artists ...

    Ab ca. Mitte Juni soll der MEGA 65 wieder verfügbar sein. Verdammt, 800 Euro sind echt nicht ohne. Aber ich grübele, ob das nicht vielleicht der bessere Schritt für ist. Zumal da alles dabei ist, was man sich wünscht und bei einem C64 erst noch dazu kaufen müsste. Was natürlich die Investitionssumme ebenfalls in die Höhe treibt ...

    @web Nein! So höre ich es immer wieder von Nutzern. Wenn man Facebook nur so oder so benutzt, ist es sicher. Facebook ist toll, sagen sie. Und WhatsApp sowieso.

    Wir WISSEN doch, wie mies mit all seinen Produkten agiert! Es interessiert uns aber einen Schas, weil wir so unendlich bequem sind!

    Es gibt bessere Alternativen zum Facebook und zu WhatsApp. Instagram kann man sich komplett kneifen und Threads ist so nützlich wie ein Kropf.

    Also hört auf, herum zu heulen! Ihr wollt es doch so...
