I read somewhere that he deliberately acts like a buffoon to entertain his supporters (his mask) while deep down he's a scheming asshole. Pretty similar to our own 🇮🇳 Laloo Prasad Yadav (a politician).

@r000t @graf Thought this was a pretty common tactic used by law enforcement across countries. It's known that the government used it in the recent JNU students and then the farmer protests in 🇮🇳 . People who aren't students or farmers were 'planted' in the crowd of protestors to hijack the protest or discredit the protestors.

TL;DR: Protestors are marching peacefully, the police form their shield/wall and duh, someone from the crowd throws a stone, lathi charge (baton charge) follows.

My grandfather in WW1. I have fond memories of him, and am probably the only grandchild to do so. (I was the first grandchild). He had parkinsons and became hospital bound and non-compos when I was still young.

He was a loving man, from my memories of him.

@quoll @LifeTimeCooking Was about to suggest the same but the pic has a charm of its own the way it is. Unless it has been infested by fungi, which would destroy it. Padding with a normal surgical cotton (on albums/frames) does the job though.

@holsta @RickiTarr Person on the SS seems to be trying to prove their point (people like to correct others) by using the current 'trending' hate/dislike for reddit.

12 year 'club' on reddit and I have received a lot of help from that site - from simple things like why a certain dot won't go away (from my screen) for a newly purchased mouse to Windows help, to Firefox CSS, to Hocho knives. Don't recall a single instance of receiving a snarky reply. Yeah, there's the common 'wrong sub' reply, which one should respect if legit - i.e. you posted the question on a wrong subreddit

    For a decade, Hollywood hasn’t aggressively fought piracy because it saw people would pay if they made them a good deal.

    But as streaming has gotten worse and more expensive, consumers turned back to file sharing. Now the industry plans to get Congress to pass new legislation to stop them.

    Don't know about the expensive part (cloud storage and stuff?) but this is certainly true. So much so that you notice a pattern on the shows/movies that's produced or shown. The 'has an agenda' crowd would have many things to add.
