I was a kid. I'd draw characters from the show. Recently I started watching from the very beginning with the original series, falling in love with Toriyama's work all over again. So this news hit extra hard.
He was influential to everywhere. DBZ was the first I had ever watched. It just goes to show that you should just unabashedly be yourself. Draw your goofy characters. Name them after underwear and vegetables. And have fun.

Godzilla was amazing. I'd never seen a Japanese Godzilla before. Was in tears by the end. I get it now. Time to watch the original and Shin Godzilla.

I've been absolutely loving the . Easily my favorite game and one of my all time favorite games. I'm so happy returned to orchestrate the amazing soundtrack. The new score is blowing my mind. I love the graphical updates and visual style. The chibi characters are a delight. And & are the best. The cutscenes are so much fun, & there are limit breaks 😂

's -Man 2 for blew me away at every turn. They took all the knobs and cranked them up to 11. I loved the story of 2nd chances. The characters were great. It was emotional, satisfying, and had so many huge set piece moments & great boss battles. Its probably my favorite superhero game I've ever played, and might be my favorite Spider-Man story. This series definitely is. I still am only 65% cause it was a page turner.

I saw and Live last Thursday. Dethklok is already one of my favorite so I expected to love them, but now I am literally obsessed with BabyMetal. At first I thought they were just a novelty, but the juxtaposition of cute vocals and every sub genre of you can think of is lighting up all the pleasure centers of my brain. 's vocals are incredible and give me a similar emotional reaction to the soundtrack.

I could never get into . Tried multiple times. Bounced off of 3 and 4. I figured if anything could pull me in it'd be . Fell off after a handful of hours. It just wasn't scratching the itch. It was too compartmentalized to feel like space exploration. A bunch of small maps. Like a fast travel simulator. Tried & really enjoyed the first planet. Then lost momentum. It looks like I am just not a style kinda guy.

After processing, Here are my thoughts. feels a lot of inadequacy as a mentor from 2 wars, dead friends, institutional betrayal, & an evil father figure. & Guilt about her life being defined by death, & destruction. Anakin is showing those are only a part of her, but she can choose to be more. Like he did when saving Luke. Instead of drowning in her past, she chooses to live for more, by tossing his saber aside, just like Luke did. And thus she is reborn

Wasn't ready for this episode. I didn't expect it to go so hard. Well done & crew. Up there with The Night Brothers, Wrong Jedi, Siege of Mandalore, Twilight of the Apprentice, & Jedi Night, as favorite moments in the Star Wars universe.

For live action shows, and Ahsoka are opposite sides of the same coin. Andor is peak Star Wars as gritty anti fascist political drama, and is peak Star Wars mystical space fantasy. I love that we have both.
