@johnlogic @rstevens A lot of Google's products have proxies. For example Lingva proxies Google translate. Invidious proxies YouTube and so on. So you could use the service without the bad things associated with the service.

My films have, so far, been collaborations with new talent. Everyone brings their skills without pay. I pay expenses, keep the production organised, and guarantee high quality films we're proud of.

When putting out casting or crew calls there's a bias against "free work" that I run into. There are always angry people. I get it, I don't want to be predatory, but I can't pay everyone out of pocket.

What's right?

@AshleyMarineP I have it worse. I had to beg a woman to voice characters for my movie, because I have a manly voice, for a year. Since I had nobody I knew other than her. She agreed eventually, but decided that she wants to remain anonymous. I think people just don't get my movies.

@alexwinter To protect the kids. We need to make sure that those kids could securely report people that cause them harm. Especially if those people are their parents. So we need more encryption, not less.

@helma @alexwinter See the problem even in the thing you describe is that somebody publishes somebodies personal material ( porn ) without them wanting it to be published. So the problem here is with I don't see how reducing privacy can help privacy.

@Radical_EgoCom @till I don't think there should be rules of how you pee. I know women with vaginas that can pee standing upright. So rules on what is your pose while peeing are unnecessary restrictions of freedom.
