If you were part of the Box Broadband outage last night and are now having connectivity issues to some sites. It appears they are no longer auto detecting the MTU so you need to set the MTU to 1484 or MSS of 1444.

now have the instructions on their status page. I'm pretty sure there is a configuration issue on the new switch at their end as this previously auto-negotiated, but at least they have the fix out there.

@brianklaas the string pull in bathrooms is/was an electrical safety thing. You don't want wet hands on old electrical switches with our electricity being 240v rather than the 110 in the US.

@markusl @mhoye the problem with BREXIT was all the options were bad and May ruled out the least bad of staying in the SM & CU. The moment that happened we were screwed as all the options relied on fantasy to be successful.

In the years to come, all Londoners are going to be proud that it led the way on low-emissions policies and reducing lethal air pollution. We will look back on the argument about the newly extended Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) like we do on past rule changes to outlaw child labour, betting on animal fights & defecation in public places.

Of course highly polluting vehicles have to go. You can argue about the mechanisms for managing it, but not the principle behind it all.

Wish MSM would stop talking about how Trump "must" juggle a "busy schedule."

  1. Running for President is OPTIONAL. He can stop any time.

  2. The man is under CRIMINAL indictment for trying to OVERTHROW US democracy (among other things).

  3. He's a rapist. Somehow that really important point keeps eluding discussion of him--or is discussed as an afterthought.

But, yeah, let's worry about poor Trump having to juggle his schedule. (read: extreme sarcasm)

Every time a motorist tries to tell me I'm not cycling correctly I'm reminded that almost all motorists are entirely ignorant of, motoring law, riding a bike and anything they have started, but not finished, overtaking. I'd post the video but I'm trying to keep this place nice.
