@mattblaze Track 13, which might be unlucky for some, unless you are Carlito Brigante, in which case stay away from track 19. Brian De Palma really uses Grand Central Terminal well in that movie climax.
@NanoRaptor I wonder if a 44 Gallon drum fits in the Cybertruck bed. 🤷♂️ My grandfather brought a P76, had pre-ordered it before they were available. I remember him being all excited when it arrived. I do remember how badly built it was. Leyland really did suck.
Many yearn for the "good old days" of the web. We could have those good old days back — or something even better — and if anything, it would be easier now than it ever was.
Paintings on the basement wall of the abandoned Pennhurst State School and Hospital, an residential center for children and adults with physical or developmental disabilities. Pennhurst had a particularly bad reputation due to its overcrowding and reports of abuse and neglect.
@AbandonedAmerica Ha, thanks for that levity. 🙂 I think I am distressed like you are by the images of some of these psychiatric institutions and hospitals. Sad to think how bad some of them were for the patients. While some of these images are haunting it is fantastic you are sharing them, reminding us of that past.
The remains of an orange sectional sofa in the abandoned WFBR radio station in Baltimore. WFBR, which stood for World's First Broadcasting Regiment, was Baltimore's first broadcast radio station. WFBR helped launch the career of Robin Quivers, who was a consumer reporter on DJ Johnny Walker's show.
Stellantis, Chrysler’s parent company, laid off 400 employees by telling them there was a mandatory remote work day and then laid them off during the Zoom call.
By-the-wind sailors, Latin name Velella velellas, spotted out on Monterey Bay but thousands of these are blowing onto Bay Area beaches now. They're related to jellies but not actually jellies. #NaturePhotography#Jellies#PacificOcean#Monterey#California
@stshank In Australia we have blue bottle/Portuguese man-o-war type. Nasty sting, because, well... Australia. But not as deadly as a box jellyfish (because yes, also Australia).
Had dinner with a group of highly accomplished people in a field I know little about who mostly talked shop. That sounds like poor etiquette, but I love listening to experts talk shop, especially when they tolerate my occasional dumb questions.
