One more comment about the border issue in Texas.

Heading into the 2018 midterms, Trump tried to do the same thing: Create a border crisis and campaign on the (invented) issue that scary brown people were invading.

It didn't work in 2018 (the Republicans lost) and I am sure it won't work again.

The idea that it work will comes from being inside an information ecosystem (or bubble): They can use it to rile their base, so they think it will rile everyone.

They’re elected by the people to get things done at the federal level for their respective states and districts. They’re not there to protect a former shitheel president, they’re not there to give tax breaks to the wealthiest one percent. They are there to WORK for YOU.
