@savinien @actuallyautistic I will try answer fairly at length in the near future because you are asking an excellent question imo but one that is multifold and quite complex. I want to tell you my experience of self loathing and how many of my therapeutic approaches to mental health have helped diminish greatly though not eliminate this problem in my own life.

I just changed the filter in my Flo Mask Pro, which I had changed just before our two days of 200+ AQI. I was out (and masked) for maybe 4-6 hours total.

The filter was visibly darkened, which I've never seen before.

@mattblaze Living in a coastal valley of the LA Basin and being a CPAP user with a hypoallergenic filter in the machine, that's how my filter looks like (inside air of my home) after 1-2 weeks and our AQI is very often 60 or higher, and frequently above 100. Dirty air kills, causes life-threatening health issues and disables people. That's been proven by science. It's like if you live right next to a freeway, it WILL affect your longevity. Fox spreading misinformation is criminal

Cats never wonder why people bring them food. They never wonder if they deserve to be massaged and tucked away into warm arms, or why there is a lap to sit on, and fine blankets and pillows when the lap is not there.

Cats have a deep and centered sense of deserving all of these things. "Of course I should be loved."

I think it's one of the things I like most about cats. And when I feel depressed I try to emulate them.

@NeadReport Congratulations to both of you and your family. 8 hours is a LONG drive. When I moved from home to university, that was my minimum drive to my parents. 500 miles. Without traffic. Sometime 10-12!! OMG. But you still ought to be so proud. I never realized that Michigan was so big. My friend across the street is from there. I'll have to tell him that tomorrow when we have coffee :)

I let my guards down 2 wks ago going to a party I though was outside (and ended up being inside) with 20-30 people and I did not go back in the car to get my mask and regretted since. But OK so far. Numbers seem up. People are still dying. Are people just lazy or do they feel like they have superpower? Anyway, still a 😷

As I scroll down my Instagram feed, and I see something I like, as I go to hit the like button, I often have an intrusive thought about how others might judge me for liking it. Usually, it's something celebrating diversity or inclusion. I know this is f*cked up, for a couple reasons. First, I don't care if anti-diversity/inclusion people don't like me, and second, it's fear. (1/3)

Moses & I went to a workout walk (minus stops for pix which I cannot help 😂) We did close to 1 mile I think. It’s cloudy & cool so weather perfect for exercising.y cardiologist wants me to do a fast walk daily, but I have very limited energy with lots to do so I find it very challenging fitting it in. But not only I did it today, but it’s 2 days in a row.

I have only come across one "iffy" person and it was about them raising money for something suspicious and as soon as I reported them, they were blocked from my instance, so this is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the 🐦

    6. Extension of number 1 Smearing democrats for the wrong reasons this is very important since we need every seat and cannot lose an incumbent regardless if you hate them or not.
    7. Doomer/ defeatist posting
    8. Ignoring or making excuses for racism and fascism
    9. Normalizing shootings by saying we have to live with this we don't have to accept this.

    @alfredo_liberal You're very thorough and it's really appreciated. I don't understand people who dont' want the GOP, but are attacking DEMs at every opportunity. IMO, that's just asking for it. Same with staying on Twitter: I waited for friends to leave and meet me here, but no more free contents for me from the fascists.
