So your search results mean that I'm suspended on , which is probably the same situation on . It's my understanding that both servers are owned by the same guy, but I may be wrong. What may be interesting here, though, is why my account was suspended on both servers...

I was publicly against the account that was created on a while ago. I have tooted against it and I've tooted to outlets on that server informing them of the situation and suggesting they would be better off with their own instance, as done by @themarkup.

So my understanding is that I'm being silenced on those servers for speaking out against their moderation decisions, which is a huge red flag!

What does this new "VPN connectivity" setting actually do? Its description on the app states "Non-VPN connection required (recommended)", but it's real effect is not clear at all.
Does it just check if there is a working Internet connection, but uses the VPN to connect?
Does it completely circumvent the connection? If so, this is a serious issue.

is definetly NOT secure NOR private enough for anyone, including regular users. It doesn't matter what they claim about their server-side encryption. It's not safe at all. Just take as an example what happened in Brazil not long ago.

While we are still waiting for results from the laboratory concerning the possibility of poison for our cat, Milka (that we rescued three years ago - the cat on my pp) has been seriously injured in a trap.
We live in a town and these traps are fully forbidden.
We are trying to save his leg with health care and antibiotics.

We have to check closely and if it becomes worse, we have to ampute his leg :(

I can't understand why some people act like that...
