This is actually what i understand as an beignet. An apple ring in pastry crust. Usually fried or pan fried.

I'm from southern germany so I've no real clue...

Ich frage mich jetzt seit 4 Jahren noch viel konkreter als jemals, wie Menschen dieses "Normalität" leben können. In allen Konsequenzen. Heiraten. Kinder kriegen. Haus bauen. Na sowas halt. Zukunftsplanung as usual. Als würden sich draußen nicht sämtliche apokalyptischen Reiter formieren.

Und das ist keine Vorwurf. Ich kann es nur einfach nicht verstehen, wie das funktioniert. Es ist mir ein Mysterium.

@Friedi @RitaWerner @fedieltern ich kann das schon lange nicht mehr nachvollziehen, wie viele dieses klassische vater mutter kind lebensmodell einfach durchziehen. Ich habe sowohl respekt als auch ein gewisses unverständnis bei paaren, die das familiending allen ernstes mit optimismus durchziehen, weil that's the way it's always been or so.
Ich weiß mittlerweile auch nicht mehr, was egoistischer ist: es sich rauszunehmen kinderlos zu bleiben, oder grad mit fleiß kinder in die 1. Welt zu setzen.

@Friedi @RitaWerner @fedieltern mir kam dazu erst vergangene woche folgender gedanke, als ich über die leute nachgedacht habe, die menschen ohne kinderwunsch iwie verantwortungslosigkeit oder gar mangelndes pflichtgefühl gegenüber ihrer familie/gesellschaft vorhalten.

Die Entscheidung, im bezug auf nachwuchs keine eigenverantwortung oder -initiative zu zu übernehmen, kann durchaus verantwortungsvoll sein.

    To become climate neutral until 2040 the state of Bavaria needs to build 104 wind turbines every year. With the first quarter of 2024 coming to an end we should be at 26 turbines. To keep track of the actual progress, Greenpeace has installed a counter in the Munich city center. Below is a picture I took today of the counter

    @MissingThePt as a kid i was freakin out to snap! Rythm is a dancer, which my uncle borrowed me to play it looped on my dad's hifi with his self built speakers.

    Later i discovered indie, punk & rock. remember to discover the old tape recorder of my dad in the attic with old pink floyd songs n stuff.

    As a teenager in the 2nd half of this decade i got into rave music as the love parade in berlin was booming til it got too big to manage the waste issues.

    I had a minidiscman & damn it was nice!

    @MissingThePt in the end of this century i started to dj with vinyls as a hobby and i am glad to still have these skills.

    When i think of all the guys using only streaming services anymore and dj their (ripped?) mp3s with a fuckin sync button i only got a dull smile left...

    German hip hop was on a absolute high in these times and techno/house music brought up a completely new club culture and set a legendary benchmark, as this stuff was produced on real hardware devices.
