Watching my democrat US peeps cheering on huge DeSantis loss and candidates dropping out of the republican race leaves me scratching my head.
You need to hope for closely contested races where they eat others support and create tension within the rank and file of the GOP.
Trump stacking huge wins in primaries is a very bad sign for democracy and the world.

@mike Trump has no chance. He won't avoid jail time of a second term, if he is even eligible to be on the ballot in all 50 states.

I don't think there's a single Republican who deserves to hold any kind of office in the country, large or small. None of them deserve any votes.

That said, the primary largely doesn't matter unless Trump loses and decides to make it a contested convention. Then things might get interesting.

But, regardless, Democrats win November, no matter who is there, Biden or anyone else.

I look at the Republican Party as a whole. It's an organization that rejects knowledge and facts, embraces bigotry, does nothing legislatively when in power, and is too busy tearing itself to pieces to have any kind of cohesive strategy.

The only people voting Republican are those who have always done so and cannot be swayed. Everyone else won't.

Still marvelous to think that 110,000 people voted in the Iowa Republican caucus, yet it will be interpreted as sending a significant message about America. That's less than a third of the population of Bydgoszcz. (if your response is "where?" then you are making my point)

@GottaLaff In my state of New Hampshire, Biden is not on the ballot. But the rest of the nation presumes it's gonna be between him and Trump. Are the party conventions just rubber stamps for the elite within the parties want?

Marjorie Taylor Greene has admitted she is openly coordinating with Trump to keep an “impeachment inquiry” into Biden open for as “long and excruciatingly painful” as possible. Speaker Kevin McCarthy has proven again that he is a spineless fool, declaring he will launch a House impeachment into Joe Biden, even though after years of digging and hearings, they have produced exactly zero evidence of any wrongdoing. The use of the impeachment in this manner is a shameful political charade and a waste of taxpayer money. The GOP is out of ideas on how to move the nation forward, so out come the conspiracy theories to help deflect from Trump’s 4 score and 11 charges.
