@stefan Looks great, I wonder if some sort of card shadow could be added to the individual items to break up the whitespace a little bit. Each link and image could have a box shadow like effect possibly. Good stuff on the website! clean
My partner once mentioned he liked F-14 "Tomcat" fighter jets.
A half a year later he got this shirt for his birthday. I designed an Escheresque pattern, with F-14 and a tomcat wearing a bow tie (because of course).
In the process I learned about tailpipe fire, and obviously the cat had to have a tail... :blobcatpeek2:

Yesterday I went to The Cité Internationale de la Tapisserie d'Aubusson in France. Aubusson tapestry is a six centuries old luxury product, a craftsmanship of excellence and local tradition, permanently renewed through contemporary creation.
Since 2020, the museum has produced five tapestries from Hayao Miyazaki's movies, with his approval. You have to see it to understand the beauty of the achievement.
If you design a system such that you cannot differentiate people from corporations and bots and that’s your defense for calling all of them “users”, you’ve designed a system that conflates people – who are mortal, have feelings, can feel pain and be hurt and who have human rights that must be protected – with the very entities that oftentimes exist to exploit them.
Design for people. Call them people. All else is secondary.

Ich finde Paula Scher und #Typographie generell sehr cool (schaut die Netflix #Design-Doku über sie!) und hab mich daher sehr über ihre Ausstellung in der Pinakothek der Moderne gefreut. Die Ausstellung: Einfach viele Wände voll von Postern, ohne Hintergründe, Kontext, ein bisschen Typo-Erklärungen für Neulinge. Total schade, so einfach nur ne Menge schreiend bunter Buchstaben 🤷🏼♀️#münchen#abouttoday
I would like to find the person responsible for the design of rotary knobs where the icon also rotates and therefore almost never appears as intended.
It's terrible.
I somehow feel compelled to adjust the rotary knob so that the icon is displayed correctly, which is often the wrong volume (e.g. car radio) or activates the wrong feature (e.g. microwave).
Can we also please ban glossy plastic surfaces? Dear manufacturers, it doesn't look classy, it just looks bad. It gets dirty and scratched just by looking at it...
