The abandoned ship La Grande Hermine in Jordan Harbour near St. Catherines, Ontario. The masts have since been removed, so it doesn't seem nearly as picturesque anymore.
Old Sheldon Church near Charleston, South carolina, burned in both the Civil War and the Revolutionary War, but still beautifully standing among old Live Oak Trees.

There's something happening here
But what it is ain't exactly clear
I think it's time we stop
Children, what's that sound?
Everybody look, what's going down? - Buffalo Springfield (Steven Stills)
It's rare for a flower to look great in B & W but this Paphiopedilum Angel Hair Orchid is stunning! Patterns and textures take center stage showing the beauty of this flower.

Eight miles high, and when you touch down
You'll find that it's stranger than known
Signs in the street, that say where you're going
Are somewhere just being their own - The Byrds (sung by)
It's a winter image, I know, but it's a favorite of mine. I think because it speaks silence so well, that silence that you experience when it's snowing, a lovely silent silence. You can hear the snowflakes as they hit the ground. I am glad it's Spring, but just spoke to me. Sometimes, I think it's what we need...
Isn't it just so pretty? If my research is right then this is a yellow buttonbush flower that I found in Canberra, Australia, where I marvelled at its beauty and of course had to take a picture of it to eventually share with you all later ;)
The perfect fishing spot near New Orleans at sunset along the marshlands. Wonderful rust colors, with beautiful views over the marshlands and even drying racks to add to the endless textures.
Any day is a good day for #flowers but especially #flowerfriday so today I bring you a sacred pink lotus with a stained glass effect. (Not real stained glass!)
I'm starting 2023 by posting #MyRecordCollection , adding to this thread one each day. These are the albums that made me who I am (for better or worse). That should last most of the year! I'm also updating the art, using techniques I've learned and developed since I began this series in 2009.
