This is the state rep that thinks he needs to carry a gun because he works in Denver. And he drives drunk with that gun.

I've worked in for almost 14 years and feel no need to carry a gun.

Folks, I hope you are all prepared for an incredible because it is going to be great. I’m so stoked. I hope we can do Denver justice in just the few days most people will be here, but I think between the talks, location, and social events, we will do pretty well. 😁

Okay area folks, the time is nigh! I am leaving town SOOON so it's time to come get some cheap furniture and housewares, if ya need them. Selling off the whole damn household cheap as chips, so come by to buy something, or even just put your name down for free stuff after everything that sells is sold (Mastodon folks will move to the top of the free list, so mention it if you come by).

Here's an ad:

If you're in the area, next Wednesday January 17th my band is opening for my two favorite local political punk bands.

Dead Pioneers is an fronted band that combines an old school punk sound with Greg's searing, funny spoken word.

Cheap Perfume is a outfit that is also funny and political! With anthems like, "It's Okay to Punch Nazis." I love the way Stephanie and Jane layer their vocals over one another.

Show flyer that reads, Skylark Lounge Wednesday January 17, 2024 8pm-11:30pm Cheap Perfume with Dead Pioneers and Elegant Everyone. Doors at 8pm, show at 9pm. $10 advanced, $13 day of show. 21 and up.

If you're in the area and need any furniture and/or household stuff, LMK. I'm getting ready to move house across the country and am taking basically NO furniture/small appliances/etc. Talking everything from couches/beds to toaster ovens/dishes/etc.

I'll be looking to sell stuff (cheap, tho) first, then giving away whatever didn't sell. Reach out to get on the cheap sales or free stuff mailing list (or both!) and I'll reach out shortly to show you what's available.

Boosts appreciated.

does anyone in denver need or want a yarn destash, with a set of metal chiaogoo interchangeables, a set of metal chiaogoo dpns, and a set of crochet hooks with clay handles for ease of grip? yarns are mostly cotton, alpaca, wool; a tiny bit of acrylic maybe for practice/learning? and it's all packed up in a bag that goes with it.

(pls reboost, i am trying to give stuff a home vs random donation to some place that'll underpay people to oversell it)

Hundreds of us joined in support, despite the snow. We sang, chanted, marched and grieved, keeping the streets closed for hours.

Police eventually sawed through the pipes and chains and arrested those locked in. No one was hurt as far as I could tell.

It was a beautiful demonstration of love and resistance.

I'm so proud of them & everyone arrested.

Riot police and soldiers encircle protesters locked down together in the center of Speer Blvd. Protesters watch from the sidewalk. One holds a cardboard sign that reads, "Cease Fire Now."
A rally of people. One holds a sign, "Jews Against Genocide. Free Palestine." Another holds a sign in Hebrew and English that reads, "I'm a Jew too demanding ceasefire." Another holds a red tissue paper poppy flower.
Anti-zionist Jews wearing "Not In Our Name" t-shirts sit in a circle, locked to one another in the middle of the street. People stand in a circle around them in support.
