I'm ever so slightly annoyed (= raging mad) that #Helsinki IT has managed to leave the personal details of every #school age kid, their parents, and every city employee on an unsecured network drive, allowed them to be stolen, and now is trying to wiggle out of the responsibility to inform every impacted person (= just about everyone) or offer anything but stupid generalities as protection for #identity#theft. #cybersecurity fail of the year. Perhaps several.

Police are yet to make arrests and are appealing for information to track down two thieves who broke into the Ely Museum, Cambridgeshire, on 7 May and escaped on electric scooters.
With gold prices hitting a record high in recent months experts are worried that the precious artefacts, worth £220,000 in their current form, might be melted down for their scrap metal value.”

On 1 April, The Bicycle Specialist in Amherst, NS was burgled and two e-bikes were stolen. One was ours, waiting for modifications. We are told that the bikes are still in Sackville, NB. If seen, please call the police. Please share around the #Maritimes
