Artist Bryce Hudson has been collecting 20th century electronics with interesting designs. His collection is quite fascinating to me, as a fan of both science-fiction and design.
He calls it “space age” which is a good name. I find it reminiscent of mid-century modern aesthetic.
Aiii @analog_cafe made his first @Flipboard Storyboard and it's so good! 🤩 In it, he celebrates the era of "the craziest design choices in 'small format' film photography, 1930s-1970s, with a list of blogs and reviews of cameras that you can still take outside and shoot pictures with."
Something a little different. These pieces were small paintings from about 20 years ago. I combined them to make a collage of three. Modern, bright and perfect for a mid-century modern feel.
Saw this #midcentury house on Instagram. I was thinking how it was my dream home, then noticed in the comments that it was created by AI. You can’t believe everything you see anymore 😒
Imagining a retro-futurism of supercomputers in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright (incorporating art glass, etc). I.e., what if their aesthetic reflected #ai as a vast library of humanity?
