Definitely more keen on the linear story vs the open endedness of MW5. I’ve played most mechwarrior games save for a couple expansions here and there (no GBL, Pirate’s Moon or Black Knight) and MW5 just felt empty and aimless to me to the point that I lost interest and stopped playing, so a story-driven linear campaign would delight me. Would also love to see them implement VR. Finally.

Edit: also loving that the teaser ends with a direct recreation of the MW2 box art. Nice little easter egg.

Heh, kinda like the reverse order from MW2, which started with the Clans first.

I recall MW5 wasn't so well-received. I certainly remember not having that great a time in my short fling with MWO.

I had fun playing mechwarrior 5 but i am not a mechwarrior fan. The only other mechwarrior game that i played was battletech(which is an xcom style strategy game) and that was great. Mw5 lacked the polish of battletech but it was still fun to have a customizable mech blowing things up. Mw5 has 83% on steam and it is also available on gamepass(and so is battletech).
