Kudos to coders! 🧡
Entering March with our latest Developer Appreciation Day #DAD blog post.
Let's all take a moment to share gratitude for their ongoing passion and commitment to making #TYPO3 awesome.
#TYPO3 continues its mission to network with other #CMS vendors and the broader content management realm. In January 2024, Benni Mack ventured over the pond to join the North American group of leaders in content management systems at the CMS Kickoff 2024, event hosted by Boye & Co. 🗺️
Sometimes the #IT job can be very frustrating. Our beloved #CMS#TYPO3 is moving to ShadowDom (WebComponents).
We have custom Acceptance tests via #WebDriver to cover functionality within the backend of the CMS.
Now ShadowDom support has landed in WebDriver. But at least Firefox seems to lack support for XPath selectors … But I am not aware of other selectors to find elements based on their text content …
There is this gap between "Ah, fuck it, I am writing my blog in plain HTML" and "The limits of human nature dictate me that I need to use a CMS". And I hate all of it. The two extremes as well as the gap. Nothing is good!
We have a London Drupal meetup coming up on 20th Feb (Tuesday) -- at The Children's Society office in central London in the evening at 6:30 PM.
Sessions of this event are dedicated to exploring the forefront of web development and content management with Drupal at its core and an AI chatbot with Flowise (Open Source).
#TYPO3 13.0.1, 12.4.11 and 11.5.35 security releases published 👏
All versions are security releases and contain important security fixes: https://buff.ly/3w8B3uY
If you customize/maintain or use a Content Management System (#CMS) to display Web content, I'd like to know which CMS your prefer
I've always coded Web-based components from scratch, but I'm curious about the CMS solutions that are commonly used to serve up content on the Web. The community here seems to be very tech-oriented, so I thought I'd be able to get some great feedback.
As I was checking once again if @cloudcannon had finaly added a starter plan in its pricing page, I just saw that there is a (new?) partner program starting at $10 for one single user! 😲
