Yeah, I am not a fan of government overspending, but I would prefer that over tens of millions being without the ability to feed themselves (humans before politics is what I say).

Why has the GOP targeted transgender people? There’s not a shred of evidence that trans people are threats to anyone. All they want is to live peacefully as their true selves.
But targeting trans people is a way to stir up the base, stoking fear and hatred. It's that simple.
@rbreich Though there remains the puzzle as to WHY the base CAN be stirred up by the existence of transgenders. It seems to be exclusively a #GOP thing. Most of us live our lives as we want, and don't care how others live theirs, as long as they don't do anyone any harm. And GTs don't fall remotely near to that category 🤔
