Happy #Tuesday friends. I love the first tiny sip of coffee every #morning. It's like...heaven but in your mouth. For just a brief moment, everything in the world makes sense. Here is your morning #mantra.
I am thankful for living to see another #sunrise and I will use this gift to help everyone I can.
Here's a #ThickTrunkTuesday from our place - close up of a heart shaped hole (or 'boot') in a giant saguaro's armpit. The boots are used by Gila Woodpeckers and others as nests, but at the moment this one appears to be empty.
And this saguaro is at least 6' taller than our house, and has multi-arms, so definitely predates the development of houses in our area.
My feed seems very divided over the idea of quote toots coming to #Mastodon. I remember how they were used on #Twitter and, honestly, I get the concern. Over on that platform quoting was often used for trolling. But, it was also used to expand jokes, share memes, and for threaded games / conversations for getting to know each other.
It's a balancing act.
My hope is that however quote toots are implemented, there is a means for individuals who prefer an experience without it to opt out for their own toots.

May 29, 2023 is election day in Alberta - we need to get everyone out, and kick the UCP Oil Lobby group out of government, and get the government back to working for Albertans, rather than mostly foreign oil companies.

It’s a bank holiday here in the UK, so as I would ordinarily be working, I figured it would be a good day to get some things done around the house. Grass needs mowing, new washing line needs hanging up, and I have a load of rubbish to take to the tip!

For me, have already watch the F1 race. I have to change up my workspace a little bit. I decided to get the monitors that work provides for us that was I can use mine for my Mac Mini and Raspberry Pi’s. Wife is going to cut my hair also, it’s past time.
