Ram Island Ledge Lighthouse always held a bit of mystery for me, since I could never get close to it, sitting out in Casco Bay on a rocky ledge. Thanks to my drone, I've been able to demystify it a bit. Here's a recent sunrise image of the lighthouse.

"Rigging Of A Clipper Ship"

This beautiful print is available at: https://pixels.com/featured/rigging-of-a-clipper-ship-scott-loring-davis.html

A dramatic view of rigging located at the bow of a historic Downeast Clipper Ship docked at a pier in the beautiful little harbor of Camden, Maine. The perfect addition to the walls of any coastal inn.

This is the biggest on Earth, and it's in .

The is on Canada's East Coast and it sits between and . And it's enormous.

Twice a day, these waters ebb and flow, and in some places, they rise up to 18 metres — that's nearly 60 feet.

At low tide, the waters recede up to five kilometres, leaving behind 1,000 square kilometres of mud.

Time for a new hard-surface modeling project, using the trusty MagicaCSG 3D editor: a submarine.

As usual, I'll keep you posted of the progress.

By request of @kbob , here's one more rendering of my submarine, viewed from a different angle. 🙂

See the previous posts in this thread for work-in-progress impressions.

Halong Bay in Vietnam seemed so overcrowded with ships, I was somewhat disappointed but come nightfall this view more than made it better. The fine art photography coming soon to your wall.

Stunning Halong Bay by night. Islands in the background with ships brightly lit reflecting on the water.

This large has run aground - as well as calling PAN PAN on the radio to alert the Coastguard / Harbourmaster and other vessels, as a visual signal 3 balls are displayed on the front mast (this is to the left of the picture). If the vessel cannot be steered, 2 balls are displayed.

This is why in when something has gone badly wrong, we often say there has been a "total balls up" 😁

Autumn is a season of both bright foliage and brooding skies. Like spring, it plays with warmth and coolness -- you definitely appreciate the rays of the sun when you find yourself in the shadows.

@_L1vY_ IDK but mph doesn't make any sense because all the places shown in that screenshot are metrified and even if we think they'd show units when over water then we'd se or instead...

Also every app & website should allow switching units easily because that takes no effort and internally their datasets will already be a deviation of official datasources anyway...
