Did you write code for #Psion machines in the #80s and #90s?
We're calling for you to open source your code!
I'm working with a group of enthusiasts, building a library of information about the SIBO/EPOC16 platform. Your old code could give valuable insight, as well as encourage people to write new code.
We're especially interested in old C and #x86#assembly.
Upload it to your public repository of choice, and set it free!
Calling all #RetroComputing friends:
I’ve designed a simple web site that should run on almost any browser that supports html3.2. However I’ve had reports of it displaying poorly on a #crt I wondered if people could send me a photo of my #website homepage on their system so I have some references.
My musings from last night about the #Psion Siena SSD Drive, plus a couple of pics of the #PsiDrive.
I know this is a long shot as there aren't many former Psion employees here. But if anyone has the schematic for the Siena drive (or any other information, such as the 3a schematic, or information on the Condor chip), please get in touch.
I'm looking for pixel artists and map designers for my DOS JRPG game Princess Fighter. The game will be freeware, so I can't offer any monetary compensation.

"By using a Famicom with FDS, it was possible to gain an additional 32 kB provided by the FDS, making the userspace utilities available in the shell. The fruits of this labor work well enough that he could also pop it up on an EverDrive cartridge that supports FDS ROMs and boot it up on an unmodified NES."
⚙️ How I remade Another World / Out of This World in hardware on the UP5K FPGA chip

「 This project is my personal homage to Another World. This game is not only a graphical and gameplay masterpiece, it is also a technical marvel: The entire game runs on a beautifully designed Virtual Machine (VM) that calls only a blitter and rasterizer to produce the graphics in four framebuffers! 」
Water simulation for the NES! I got it working! Updating 10 times per second isn't too shabby either. Excited to see what I can do with this. #gamedev#retrodev#nes
Running at 50fps a lot of the time, and 25fps when it has to refresh the h and v edges on the same frame. I'm aiming at 25fps anyway so I'm not sure it's worth pursuring spreading the edge updates over multiple frames.
It does take 1-2s to set up each room though, which feels like a lot. I could bake the data it's setting up into the room data though, I'll see how much space that takes.
