#WriteFreely jednak mocno ogranicza np. komentarze i interakcje. Jego fork #PostFreely daje jakąś nadzieję na szybszy rozwój, ale to jeszcze plany/wczesna implementacja.
Choć na magazyn.social oparty o /kbin. W tym tygodniu odpalamy. Oprócz tego, że można tam pisać Artykuły w markdown jak na WriteFreely, to oprócz swojego profilu można też zakładać Magazyny, które mają własny adres na web, taki blog, i da się je fajnie dostosować. Zwróć uwagę na adresy w sieci. A jak wrzucisz w szukajkę na masto, to widać go w prostszej formie, normalnie lata po fedi.
/kbin ma jeszcze kilka innych zalet: fajne komentarze ładnie powątkowane jak na forum, normalnie odpowiadasz ze swojego profilu kbin, bo do tego ma Notki, czyli jak tootki na #mastodon. WriteFreely jest nieme. I kilka innych jeszcze ale to nie elaborat o kib ;)
Acha, widzisz też, ile było odsłon artykułu (z web). Masz moderację własną itd.
Bo on jest nie tylko pod fedi robiony, ale też by dobrze wyglądał normalnie jako strona.
Il m'arrive de partager des outils que j'apprécie sur les réseaux sociaux. Permettez-moi de les lister ici afin qu'ils ne se perdent pas au fin fond d'un flux d'actus. Ce sont des outils que j'utilise ou que j'ai utilisés par le passé.
Cette liste est valide en date d'aujourd'hui, je ferai peut-être une mise à jour si j'en découvre d'autres.

Ça serait intéressant ça ? On nous demande souvent si on propose une solution moins lourde et coûteuse que les WordPress dédiés que nous proposons, plutôt adaptés pour les pros. Ça pourrait être ça. Juste une idée...

Hallo Fediverse! Bitte um Rückmeldung + Ergänzungen: Übersichts-Tabelle mit Fediverse-Diensten, Vergleichsdiensten und Funktionen
Ich schreibe einen Artikel über den #FediverseFachtag und in dem Rahmen natürlich auch über das #Fediverse . Zielgruppe sind Leute, die wahrscheinlich zum Großteil noch gar nix vom Fediverse gehört haben.
Dazu bin ich dabei, eine Tabelle zu erstellen, in der einige Fedi-Dienste sowie deren Haupt-/ besondere Funktionen aufgeführt werden sollen.
Das ist der derzeitige Entwurf:

Ein Vergleich mit kommerziellen Plattformen ist natürlich immer nur zum Teil passend. Ich kenne auch keinen der kommerziellen Dienste aus eigener Erfahrung, aber für die avisierte Zielgruppe kann so ein Vergleich vielleicht trotzdem eine hilfreiche Orientierung sein. Vielleicht gibt es da aber auch Vergleiche, die passender sind. Einige Dienste (bspw. Medium, Podigee) kannte ich auch noch nicht mal vom Namen her, sondern habe das nur aus ähnlichen Vergleichstabellen übernommen.
Zu den "besonderen Funktionen":
Insbesondere Friendica, Firefish und v.a. Hubzilla haben so viele Funktionen, dass diese im Rahmen der Tabelle nur exemplarisch aufgeführt werden können und die Auswahl ist subjektiv. Hier wäre die Frage, ob das eine passende Auswahl ist, ob besonders wichtige fehlen oder ob andere Funktionen wichtiger oder besonderer sind.

I hope Mastodon offers premium hosting in the future, which could appeal to large corporate clients & politicians as well (not to mention it would help bring in additional funds).
I've heard reports that users on #Lemmy aren't able to interact with #WriteFreely blogs. Can anyone help test / verify that something is up so we can fix?
Looked into why Updates from #WriteFreely weren't reflected on #Mastodon, and figured out we just need to set an updated field with those activities. That fix will be in the next version. https://writefreely.org/pull/781
Building off of this, there will be a new Subscribers page in #WriteFreely that shows both email subscribers and fediverse followers for your blogs. If you've used @write_as before, you've seen this in action!
Last one for today -- the next #WriteFreely release will FINALLY support resetting your password on your own 😅 Just enter your username, get an email, and pick a new password.

but just some days ago, news spread that a new fork is in the works which, among other things, will support visible comments
IF I was to move all my content from Medium - where / which #Fediverse platform would be the best to rehome it? And is there an easy way to do an export like this?
Or would it be better to just set up some simple lo-fi websites / blogs?

@Coolmccool for long form it’d probably be #WriteFreely or it’s more recent fork #PostFreely (looks like the former hasn’t had any updates in quite some time - no idea whether it was abandoned?).
I started to adjust and edit the CSS on one of my #writeFreely blogs as a test and it’s a nice way to ease into making it feel like a place I want to keep using more than now. Maybe I can slowly improve my #writing and CSS with the low stress and laidback setup.
Couple this all with some ideas for some #podcast experiments for my #Castopod instance and I may yet make a cozy corner for myself and others.
