I had to shop around to find acceptable mixers for old Kohler shower fixtures. Also had to yank (read "break") the flow restricters in the shower heads — what the plumbers (recommended by Kohler) installed left us with a trickle of icy water — really made my wife happy. 😡

@ai6yr I've heard people have wildly varying success with that kind of product. If you don't put on the second coat at the exact right time it can bubble something terrible.
@mjausson We shall see. It's easier this or replace a tub... a few problematic rust spots which didn't do so great with repair kits in the past. So doing a lot of prep work so that it sticks well, hope it comes out okay!

Beside the beautifully #handmade toothbrush cover 🪥 we also can mention the toothpaste tabs from Lush. We are very content with their taste, cleaning ability, and compact size. At the Lush shop in Dubai, we were giftet with mini creams. The tattoo cream is from the tattoo shop where we got inked. The Dr. Hauschka quince cream, was a gift from Jacqueline. Our sunscreen of choice is the Swiss Solio Solar 7. Sidenote: Marc prefers to cover his head and face with a turban than using sunscreen and dealing with sweating, reapplication, etc. The Weleda Skin Food lip balm is the one Fiona needs when she has cracked lips. Its funny how much cream we have. Normaly we don't carry much skin cream as we even didn't used it back in #Switzerland. Are you surprised to see baking powder in the middle of our #toiletries? We use it as deodorant. In cases of too much stress our sweat starts to smell. With only a fingertip of baking powder (natron), the odor gets neutralized. We seldom use our solid shampoo, and conditioner, preferring to shower with water and use the juice of half a lemon 🍋 as #conditioner.
The lavender soap bar we use for hand and clothes washing 🫧 Each of us has its favorite size of nail clipper. The comb and four 'LastSwab' Q-tips we share. Fiona has to carry menstruation cups and uses wax strips to get rid of her body hair. Oops, we forgot, Marc's carries an electric beard trimmer 🪒 with a self-modified charging plug. And last but not least, we come along with microfiber #travel towels and washcloths.
Our #firstaid kit contains only the really basic essentials. Till today, we needed nothing else than desinfection spray, plaster 🩹, gauze compresses, tape, painkillers, influenza pills 💊 eye drops, magnesium, and homeopathic globules. If something special was needed, we went to a local pharmacy to get the right medicine for that case ⚕️ Fiona carries Bricanyl with her due to her past asthma issues, but only needed to use it twice. #travellifestyle
