The #Toronto Public #Library is a beloved institution throughout the city. Membership is completely free and the 100 branches provide not only books but courses, internet access, movies, papers, community spaces, games and some of the cities finest architecture. And then there’s gargoyles! This is truly amazing.

A square in the historic centre of Bratislava. Dominated by St Martin's Cathedral, coronation church of the Kingdom of Hungary. There has been another beautiful place of worship - Neolog Synagogue right beside the cathedral. Unfortunately the synagogue did not survive the ruthless building of the SNP Bridge by communist regime.
