There was a loud noise in the kitchen. On investigation there was only a spatula mysteriously on the floor, and Wordsworth (Greater London, UK). Apparently he was also checking out the unexplained movement of the spatula.

@louisa_ oh yes it does! As does the other one she likes to get into (my sister bought me a mug with a lid so I didn't drink cold 'bum tea'* unawares).
