I suppose I could introduce myself... that seems to be the protocol here?
I'm Emily (she/her), a 30something professional computer-toucher, although you probably won't catch me posting programming-related stuff here often. My main hobbies include #gaming (right now i'm playing #FFXVI, #FFXIV, #HonkaiStarRail, and #GenshinImpact in various amounts), #books (mainly #scifi and #fantasy), and #knitting & #crochet. Would love to have people to follow for any of these subjects ❤️
Really I'm mostly here to vibe. I'm not exactly new to the Fediverse (I made a Mastodon account back when Elon bought the birdsite) but I am relatively new to actually trying to engage with it (and social media in general TBH, until now I've never been much of a poster!). It seems like a comfy place to hang out that the corporate places never were, so I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
Hi all! I’m Bea, based in the U.K. PS5 and Switch gamer and long time final fantasy lover 🥰 Hope to make some new gamer friends here, especially ones who are currently also playing FFXVI 👀 #FinalFantasy#PS5#Switch#girlswhogame#ffxvi
The developers behind Final Fantasy XVI have described the game to be a rollercoaster ride, where the thrill and emotions fluctuate up and down that makes it one unforgettable experience....
Ralph Ineson is 2023’s video game “it” guy. The English actor, who’s made a sizable career out of supporting roles across television and film, managed to nab leading roles in two of this year’s biggest games, Diablo IV and Final Fantasy XVI.
You can call me Petra. I’m a 30something ace nerd who likes #reading, #writing, and #gaming far too much for my own good. :blobcathearts:
I’m a huge fan of RPGs including #ffxiv#ffxvi#BaldursGate3#HonkaiStarRail#GenshinImpact and others. If you like self-indulgent #fanfiction, I’m also currently writing a BG3 fanfic over on #AO3 (linked in my bio up top). Please be gentle if you decide to comment, this is my first time sharing a fan work :blobsweat:
I’m back to give this place another try. :ablobcatheart:
With other social medias not being very social at all anymore I’m looking to find a community!
A little #introduction to the thinks I like to chat about:
#FFXIV Did the #FFXVI event despite not knowing anything about 16. I dressed up in my best dark knight outfit to match. Clive didn't impress me with his personality, but the gameplay in the trial was pretty fun! Helps that the dodge timing was pretty forgiving. I don't love the outfit, I'm sure I'll find a use for pieces of it. But the action the dogge mount does is so cute it's all worthwhile!
#FFXVI could be my GOTY by complete surprise. I would have liked better performance, but still, the world is incredibly pretty, the setting draws me in, I'm invested in the story, and the combat system is great.
I can only recommend everyone to experiment with the skills and test different combo variations to exploit the potential of the combat system.
The other day my wife asked me what I want for my upcoming birthday and "a PS5" came out of my mouth, so there is now a chance that I'll be playing #FFXVI on Day 1.
I've decided to try playing nothing but #FinalFantasy games in the meantime. I'm currently downloading #FinalFantasyXV on my bedroom PC which now houses my GTX 1080 so I can play through Episode Ignis and Episode Ardyn on the big OLED TV. I can also continue working on my games of FF6, 8, 9, 12, and 13 on other devices.
Back on my #FinalFantasyXIV bullshit lately. ;-) Got the #FFXVI crossover armor for 3 of my alts now, plus been leveling reaper on one of them, also debating using the fact that you can use duty/trust companions for the entire leveling experience to open up healing jobs I'm not as comfortable with.
