#ITV descended upon County Durham, Seaham yesterday (May 16, 2024) filming new scenes for the final ever 14th season of #Vera starring #BrendaBlethyn, set to hit our screens in 2025.

Contrary to rumors, #ITV#Vera's #BrendaBlethyn confirms drama's future with four word reply: "it’s not the last."
Additionally, after the end credits rolled on Sunday's episode, a picture of Blethyn appeared on screen as an ITV announcer confirmed Vera would be back in 2025.
Rumors began when Blethyn said she hadn't heard about the new season yet & Vera being removed from its normal time slot.

Telling that there is nothing new today. The story was told years ago by #computerweeklg, the #BBC did a brilliant detailed expose over many episodes on Radio 4. It's just that prime time #ITV couldn't, like the others, any longer be ignored. Reputational risk in the Post Office was the start. Reputational risk meant the injustice was largely ignored for a decade.
Now reputational risk has flipped and so has the political leadership. Justice is hardly a bit player in this scandal.
