Apparently, the #DailyMail has just launched "Woke Watch", where red faced pillocks send in angry e-mails, complaining about transgender asylum seekers giving their house prices pronoun cancer, or something.
Anyway, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should one e-mail wokewatch@dailymail.co.uk to #Troll, #Shitpost or just plain take the piss. No, that would be WRONG. Oh, for shame!
Das regelmäßige Blockieren/Sperren von Accounts auf #Mastodon ist für mich ein essentielles Feature. Auch auf Mastodon bzw. im #Fediverse gibt es genug Idioten. Diskutiere nicht lange mit Trollen oder Idioten. Das ist Zeitverschwendung. Tut euch das nicht an. Das Leben ist dafür zu kurz. Schenkt eure Zeit jenen, die euch mit Respekt behandeln - auch wenn sie anderer Meinung sind.

Folklore says that if you ever meet a troll that is in a bad mood and tries to attack you, you can try to guess its name and say it out loud. Trolls can't stand the sound of their own name, so if you guess correctly the troll will either drop dead or escape.

Every single poster I've seen responding to articles on Lemmy and kbin from this site have been shitty, angry little pricks with regressive takes on everything. We need to block these trolls before they ruin engagement from well-reasoned humans.
I seem to be dealing with a troll website this morning. The downloads start really fast, then they slow down, then they slow down, then they slow down... rinse and repeat.
The end result is that the download will never complete.
I don't recall how we describe that mathematically.

Ludziom, w tym politykom, wydaje się, że jeśli czegoś jest dużo w internecie, to odzwierciedla to poglądy jakiejś większości. Jeśli pod jakimś tekstem mamy wysyp hejterskich komentarzy, to wygląda to pozornie na „głos ludu”. Politycy, którzy generalnie są oportunistami, boją się tego rodzaju emocji ze strony osób, które uważają za zaplecze wyborcze swojej formacji. Wydaje im się, że spadną ze stołka, jeśli zapadnie taki wyrok „tłumów” z Twittera.
