Maybe it makes me a terrible person, but it's kinda ironic to imagine old white retirees having to venture into a howling snowstorm whose extremeness is caused by the climate change they don't believe in, in order to congregate behind their chosen fascist (it's Trump, it's always Trump) in the Iowa presidential primary caucus 😏
It's almost like #democrats in #Iowa actually want to expand #voter access, unlike #republican caucuses that require you to attend in perfect to pick a presidential candidate for your affiliated party, something predominantly only old white retirees can afford to do.

Misty Hampton, former Coffee County, GA, elections supervisor, was among those #indicted last night in the #Trump#election interference case.
Hampton (who also has used the last names of Martin and Hayes) played a role in blocking a local activist from helping people to vote, part of a long history of #voter suppression.

Just remembered, a year or so ago, I passed a young brother taking a gas can out of his car roadside. I turned back and asked if he needed a ride. He JUMPED in the car!
When we got back, he was grateful and said he wished he could repay me. I said, you can: Are you registered to vote? He said it was a family thing but, to be sure, I asked if he was registered (I carry #voter registrations in my car). "I am," he said. "Promise me, you'll #vote!"
