Apparently the next battle I’m going to have to fight (and will probably lose) with fellow leftists is that Univeral Basic Income programs cannot replace disability income programs, disabled people must be able to augment UBI with additional disability income because of the costs of support needs. And this is true even if the UBI amount is larger than any existing disability benefit. Whatever anyone thinks it costs to live with disability, it’s probably double that. Or more.

A fine foster home had gotten them started, and we got the full benefits of their meshing styles. We see Bud with his head on the floor. He always wanted to know how things worked.

Random toy success continues, no matter how well I know my cats. Almost the same thing doesn't count, and toy replacement is tricky.

But we both love the chase.

Rhiannon took years to fully mature, and this included all the colors in her coat.

Those big, gold, expressive eyes have always been her trademark. And that little orange patch on top of her head which was my first clue she was a Tortie. And for a long time, the only one. Her body was gray and shorthaired when we found her.

Then went multi-color and medium length for an overall puffed-out, adorable, look.

Rhiannon loves the window. She will share if a cat is polite about it.

Dilute tortoiseshell doesn't mean her Tortitude is watered down.
