Weil gestern mehrfach behauptet wurde, es würde nur einen Rudi Völler geben, hierzu aus kosmologischer Sicht eine Anmerkung: Die theoretische Annahme eines Multiversums würde durchaus erlauben, dass es in diesen Parallelwelten jeweils einen und daher in der Summe unendlich viele Rudi Völlers gibt. Insofern sollten Aussagen über eine mutmaßliche Einmaligkeit also bis zu einer abschließenden astrophysikalischen Klärung immer unter einen hypothetischen Vorbehalt gestellt werden.

    Regarding your LUKS password issue. Could it be that you are using a LVM block (?) on the machine where you have to type in the password once?
    And on the other host you have to decrypt ever single partition?

    I think i have the latter case on my guix setup, which u did manually. The former on my NixOS hosts per installer.

    LibreWolf for example is not sending any color preferences by default as far as i know (due to fingerprinting). So i am glad that a toggle button exists.

    Of course it would be nicer if it just were a fallback to the OS preferences (if sent).
    Of course it would be nicer if such things would be handled offline and not being sent to the server in the first place.

    I was using @bitwarden for free all those year. It was so good it felt like a steal… but I finally found a good reason to subscribe!

    The premium plan supports storing TOTP in Bitwarden, and counter-intuitively that makes my setup more secure than relying on my phone's TOTP app.

    A touchscreen on a smartwatch is just so dumb to me. My finger covers 3/4 of the screen when I go to touch anything on it and it's just so incredibly imprecise and annoying to use. Have gloves on? Your'e screwed. Hands are messy? Either your watch is getting gross too or you're screwed.

    I do like its "nh os switch --ask" so much more than the standard "nixos-rebuild switch --flake". 🤓

    ich suche solch eine/n Wäschekorb/-wanne. Damals gab es die bei real und in der Metro. Jetzt finde ich die nicht mehr. Bei Metro gab es kürzlich noch eine in grau im Shop, war dann aber lange Zeit nicht verfügbar.
