Wednesday, May 1 🌺

1. After a couple of days of feeling puny, woke up today almost normal.
2. Wrote a “gratitude list” for daily reflection BEFORE diving into the negativity of social media, news subscriptions, political & cultural realities. (So much of my personal life is just as I wish it - but crises get the attention & angst. This helps!)
3. Good food day - egg salad for brunch, Mexican stuffed peppers for dinner. 😊

I do wish people would anticipate the little things they do that annoy me specifically. I just spoke to a guy who says the word 'project' weird and I spent the whole time thinking about how I could cheerfully murder him with my own hands. Watch the light go out of his eyes as I whispered softly to him..... it's proj-ect, not pro-ject.

Catching Up Tuesday, April 30🌸

1. Brief but very fun visit with visiting vagabond son & DIL. He photographed the rose below at a popular Sacramento rose garden.
2. Bought & potted petunias to add color & keep the bonsai forest happy. Pomegranate bonsai is already budding.
3. Big, fat bumblebee & yellow butterfly inspecting the star jasmine that bloomed overnight. (I have about 200 sq ft of jasmine…May is a heavenly-scented month.)

Ahoy Free Fedizens! Does anyone know of any systematic comparative testing or review of laptop keyboards?
I have clung to Dell laptops recently after a series of HP, Toshiba, Lenovo and MSI laptops proved to be total garbage in this respect.
I would love to know if anyone is applying actual science to this issue.

I don’t want to alarm anyone, but those god-awful colors & patterns from the 1960-70’s have returned, at least in the few things I’ve been browsing online lately (sheets, women’s tops & pants, summer dresses).

Doesn’t seem fair some of us will have to live through big orange & yellow daisies on our thighs & ass twice in our lives.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has called for Supreme Court Justice to be impeached, and says that she is willing to draft and introduce articles of impeachment herself.

She said in the announcement:
