Yak shaving sounds so much more fun than what I am doing today. I would pet the Yak and make sure it was comfortable. The shave would freshen it up. Maybe I would feed it some carrots and celery. Would be nice to be out in the fresh air with my Yak.

Since I posted it on LinkedIn, a good time to post here as well:

I am currently looking for full-time roles (I will be graduating in December) in cutting-edge data management work. I have experience with storage and SSDs, kernel development, C, Rust, NVMe, data management, data analysis, and many other things; please reach out; happy to discuss in detail. My LinkedIn profile or website (https://sincerely.dev) has more details about my work.

    you wake up.

you're still a lizard sunning on a red rock. it was all a dream.
the concept of “working over winter break” to meet "january deadlines" is already losing its meaning as you open and lick your own eyeballs to moisten them.

    time to eat a bug.

So I was looking at old calculator manuals, and I was not expecting them to be this pretty!

This is such a beautiful handbook https://literature.hpcalc.org/community/hp45-oh-en.pdf

Gosh , going through HP’s 80s user manuals and the aesthetics are off the charts, they’ve inspired me.
