Ten years ago today we brought home four kitties in need of a home. Three 4-month-old siblings and a 2-year-old stray with an embedded collar (who was facing “destruction”). Our reigning queen at the time, Caoimhe, was displeased. Magnus, Orla, Felix, and Leo have brought so much joy and we hope they’ll keep doing so for many years to come, despite the hypertension our younger cats now cause them. ❤️

This begs the question.

Why hasn’t Apple embraced React Native and Electron as valid platform choices? Microsoft is the primary developer behind React Native on Windows and it’s used heavily to build their own software.

I appreciate everything Jen has done for the web and Safari. Apple has become the new Microsoft. The Microsoft that pushed so hard against the web then declared Internet Explorer complete.

I’d paid ~$40 for several years to keep receiving updates of health/pharma findings from 23andMe. It was barely worth it, given the extremely low rate of actual findings.

They’ve just emailed to say the price has gone up to ~$70/year. No fucking thank you.
